Steering Committee Associated Groups

In 2021, the Steering Committee formed a Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to support monitoring and adaptive management of the ASRP going forward. The TAG replaced the Science and Technical Review Team (SRT) and the Monitoring and Adaptive Management (M&AM) Team who guided technical development of the ASRP prior to 2021.  The TAG recommends adaptive management actions to the Steering Committee based on continued learning from project implementation and data from ongoing monitoring efforts.

The Chehalis Basin Lead Entity (Lead Entity) recommends allocation of state and federal salmon recovery funding for habitat projects and coordinates the work that supports the Chehalis Basin Salmon Habitat Restoration and Preservation Strategy. The Lead Entity supports implementation of the ASRP, advises and assists the Steering Committee, and serves as an interface between the ASRP and /project sponsors. Conservation Districts from each county within the Chehalis Basin are actively involved in supporting implementation of the ASRP. Specifically, Lewis Conservation District, Thurston Conservation District and Grays Harbor Conservation District serve as the interface between the ASRP and landowners for the five early action reach restoration projects.
